The Mats project

In 2023, we've added The Mats Project as one of our Volunteer Programs. We upcycle plastic bags that are unused into eco-friendly sustainable bed mats for the homeless living in the tunnels. We've streamlined our production process by having Teams that cut the bags into strips, then loop the strips into a long strand and crochet the strands into the mats that measure 30" wide and 72" long. Our mats are donated to Shine A Light Foundation for distribution to the homeless living in the tunnels of Las Vegas NV.  Meet other amazing people while making a difference!
